Comfy seats, free wi-fi: that’s how Capital Metro hopes to sell its newest development, MetroRapid buses, to Austin’s ever-growing business commuter community.

The connection to transit is subtle, and that’s the point.

MetroRail would get four more trains, and an upgraded downtown station, under a $50 million grant that the Texas Transportation Commission likely will award to Capital Metro at its meeting Thursday, state Sen. Kirk Watson says.
